Job summary

BIG Education Institute in Dubai seeks a lecturer to deliver lectures, tutorials, and workshops in Accounting and Finance, aligning lessons with programme outcomes. You will develop materials, assess student work, and provide timely feedback to uphold academic integrity.

The role involves supervising undergraduate and postgraduate research, publishing research, pursuing grants, and contributing to curriculum and quality assurance efforts. UAE/GCC teaching experience is preferred.

Qualifications

Key Responsibilities

• Develop lesson plans, learning materials, and assessments aligned with module and programme outcomes.

Qualifications & Experience

• PhD/DBA in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline from a recognised institution.
• Minimum 2–3 years of higher-education teaching experience, preferably in the UAE/GCC.
• Strong expertise in Accounting & Finance with experience using LMS platforms such as Canvas.
• Excellent English communication, academic, research, and assessment skills.
• Professional qualification such as CA, ACCA, CMA, CPA, or CFA is desirable.
• Teaching qualification such as FHEA/PGCert HE and research experience are desirable.
• UAE MOE equivalency/attestation required for international qualifications.
• Must comply with RAKDOK and Royal Roads University academic standards.
