Job Summary
As an Assistant Director of Housekeeping, you will assist the Director of Housekeeping in overseeing and managing the cleanliness and hygiene standards of the establishment. You will be responsible for ensuring high levels of cleanliness, creating cleaning schedules, managing a team of housekeeping staff, and maintaining inventory of cleaning supplies.
Job Responsibility
- Assist the Director of Housekeeping in developing and implementing cleaning procedures to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Supervise and train housekeeping staff on cleaning techniques, safety protocols, and customer service standards.
- Create and maintain cleaning schedules to ensure all areas of the establishment are cleaned regularly.
- Inspect rooms and public areas to ensure they meet cleanliness standards and address any deficiencies.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, and place orders as needed.
- Handle customer complaints or requests regarding housekeeping services in a timely and professional manner.
Candidate Requirements
- Proven experience in a housekeeping supervisory role.
- Excellent knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation standards, and safety protocols.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work effectively under pressure.
- Attention to detail and a customer-oriented approach.
- Certification in housekeeping or a related field is a plus.
