Job summary

National Bank of Fujairah is seeking an Assistant - Customer Relations to welcome customers, direct them to the correct desks and deliver express service for applications and security items. The role includes cross-selling to premium clients and handling branch communications.

You will support service standards, maintain custodianship of security items, and provide timely responses to queries while assisting colleagues and contributing to branch targets.

Qualifications

Degree / diploma in Commerce or equivalent would be preferred
A minimum degree (Bachelors) in a business related field or equivalent
Experience in financial services or retail banking is advantageous

Responsibilities

Welcome and attend customers, direct them to locations, and provide express service for applications and authorization requests
Provide customer service supporting timely and accurate completion in line with procedures and service standards
Cross-sell to high-profile and wealth customers and refer to OCR for further cross selling
Custodian of security items (cheque books, returned cheques, etc)
Respond to branch telephone calls and inquiries
Carry out processing/service functions within specified timelines
Respond promptly and courteously to internal and external customers
Provide on-the-job training to colleagues and prepare reports/statistics for line management
Support line management with changes or project work as needed
Undertake duties at a higher level when requested by line/senior management

Job Description:

Job Purpose

To welcome and attend the customers and direct them to the appropriate location / work station & provide an express service to the customers (Receiving applications, input the requests in system for authorization for all security items).
To provide the customer service support with a view to achieving timely and accurate completion of work in line with specified procedures, and delivering quality customer service in line with agreed service standards.
Cross Sell & Refer the high profiled & wealth customers to the OCR for further cross selling.
To be a custodian of security items (cheque books, Returned cheques,,,etc).
To respond & attend to the branch telephone calls.

Key Accountabilities

Carry out a range of processing/service functions ensuring that the work assigned has been accurately completed within specified timelines.
Respond to internal and external customers promptly and courteously always providing adequate clarification on the information being given.
Upon request provide on-the-job training to colleagues
Prepare reports/statistics requested by line management

Other Accountabilities

When required, support line management with the implementation of changes or undertaking other project work in own or other work areas.
Undertake other duties at similar level when required
Undertake duties at a higher level as required when requested by line/senior management.

Work Experience:
