Position Summary

Palazzo Versace Hotel is seeking a highly motivated and experienced La Vita Restaurant & Bar Assistant Manager to support the General Manager in overseeing the operations of our distinguished dining and bar establishment. This role is essential in maintaining the high standards of service and ambiance that La Vita is known for, characterized by its chic and vibrant atmosphere, luxurious leather and matelassé textile upholstery, and innovative beverage offerings. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a keen understanding of luxury hospitality, and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Responsibilities

Operational Support:

  • Assist the General Manager in managing all operational aspects of La Vita Restaurant & Bar, ensuring compliance with established service standards and operational protocols.
  • Oversee daily operations in the absence of the General Manager, ensuring seamless service and guest satisfaction.

Team Leadership and Development:

  • Support in recruiting, training, and mentoring staff, promoting a culture of excellence, collaboration, and accountability.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members, fostering professional growth.

Guest Experience Enhancement:

  • Ensure that guests receive attentive and personalized service, addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly and effectively.
  • Assist in implementing initiatives to enhance the guest experience, promoting La Vita as a premier destination for dining and drinks.

Financial Management:

  • Support the General Manager in developing and managing the annual budget, including revenue tracking, cost control, and financial reporting.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist in procurement processes to ensure efficient stock management and cost-effectiveness.

Compliance and Safety:

  • Ensure adherence to health, safety, and licensing regulations, maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and safety within the restaurant and bar.
  • Participate in regular audits to ensure compliance and operational integrity.

Marketing and Promotion:

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to execute promotional events and initiatives that enhance the visibility and appeal of La Vita Restaurant & Bar.
  • Engage with local suppliers and partners to enrich the bar’s offerings and foster community relationships.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in restaurant and bar management or supervisory roles, preferably within a luxury hotel or upscale dining environment.
