Akkodis is seeking an Assembly Technician to support our client in Abu Dhabi, UAE. You will perform composite and mechanical assembly, drilling, sealing, and fastener installation on aerospace components using in-line jigs and semi-automatic equipment.

You will read engineering drawings, apply Lean/Kaizen practices, and ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards. Requires 3–5 years aerospace experience and a High School Diploma or equivalent apprenticeship.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years aerospace composite/structural assembly experience.
• Proficiency with aerospace hand tools and assembly jigs.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.

We are seeking an Assembly Technician to support one of our clients based in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

Key Responsibilities

• Composite & Mechanical Assembly: Perform drilling, reaming, countersinking, sealing, trimming, and fastener installation on composite components and structures.
• Jig & Automated Operations: Execute assembly in assembly jigs, out-of-jig setups, and final assembly using semi-automatic/automatic equipment.
• Technical Compliance: Read engineering drawings and technical work instructions to carry out composite assembly tasks accurately.
• Continuous Improvement & HSE: Apply Lean practices (5S, Kaizen) to improve process efficiency and adhere to plant safety and environmental standards.

Requirements

• Education: High School Diploma, apprenticeship, or equivalent on-the-job training.
• Experience: 3-5 years of aerospace composite/structural assembly experience.
• Skills: Proficiency in aerospace hand tool use, composite trimming/sealing, fastener installation, assembly jig methods, and technical drawing interpretation.
