Job description

As an AMO Technician - Mechanic, you will be responsible for:

  1. Testing, assembling, disassembling, and performing visual inspections of mechanical assemblies.
  2. Assisting in reworking, repairing, and modifying non-conforming equipment.
  3. Ensuring compliance with HS&E policies and procedures.
  4. Performing maintenance and repairs of ESP equipment in accordance with operating specifications.
  5. Troubleshooting and maintaining refurbishing equipment routinely.
  6. Conducting mechanical inspections.
  7. Using moderately complex diagnostic equipment.
  8. Reviewing procedures for assembly, disassembly, and test verification accuracy.
  9. Configuring test stations and systems.
  10. Facilitating third-party repair of equipment when required.
  11. Analyzing and interpreting data from environmental tests and troubleshooting equipment problems.
  12. Maintaining records, scheduling maintenance, and managing equipment records and filing systems as part of quality control and assurance programs.
  13. Performing inspection and disposition of parts and equipment.
  14. Ensuring compliance with HSE&Q policies and procedures.

Work Experience

  1. High school diploma, college degree, or engineering degree is an advantage.
  2. 1-2 years of experience in a workshop environment.
  3. Hydraulic, engine, and pump experience preferred.
  4. Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, wiring diagrams, assembly prints, and parts lists, and following formal procedures and maintenance practices.
  5. Knowledge of hydraulic and electrical circuits and ability to troubleshoot faults.
  6. Basic knowledge of measurement instruments and hand tools.
  7. Advanced analytical skills to solve complex technical problems.
  8. Advanced computer skills.
