Job summary

SO/ Ras Al Khaimah, part of Accor, seeks an Arts & Crafts Instructor to inspire creativity and deliver engaging workshops for guests of all ages.

You will design activities aligned with the resort’s entertainment program, create a vibrant studio, manage materials, adapt for all ages, promote workshops, and collaborate with the Entertainment and Guest Experience teams to craft memorable experiences while upholding health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an arts and crafts instructor in a resort/hotel or leisure setting.
• Strong artistic skills across media (painting, ceramics, collage, upcycling).
• Excellent communication and presentation with a creative and energetic personality.
• Ability to work with diverse audiences including families and children.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.

Job description

As the Arts & Crafts Instructor at SO/ Ras Al Khaimah you will inspire creativity and deliver engaging arts and crafts experiences for guests of all ages. You will design and conduct workshops that reflect the playful stylish and imaginative spirit of SO/ ensuring memorable moments that enrich the overall guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan organize and deliver daily arts and crafts sessions for adults and children aligned with the resorts entertainment program.
• Create a vibrant and inspiring studio environment that encourages creativity and self-expression.
• Manage all materials tools and supplies ensuring they are well-stocked and safely maintained.
• Adapt activities to suit different age groups interests and skill levels.
• Contribute to the resorts lifestyle and cultural programming integrating local art and sustainable materials when possible.
• Assist in promoting workshops through creative displays social media content or special events.
• Collaborate with the Entertainment and Guest Experience teams to design signature creative experiences.
• Maintain health and safety standards during all sessions.
• Provide friendly engaging and personalized service that reflects the SO/ brand values.

Qualifications :

• Proven experience as an arts and crafts instructor creative facilitator or similar role in a resort hotel or leisure environment.
• Strong artistic skills in various media (painting ceramics collage upcycling etc.).
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with a creative and energetic personality.
• Ability to work with diverse audiences including families and children.
• Passion for design creativity and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
• Diploma or certification in Fine Arts Art Education or a related field preferred.
• Fluency in English required; additional languages are a plus.
