Role Overview

Join our culinary team as a Commis Bakery, where you'll help create a variety of fresh baked goods and artisanal breads in a luxurious environment at The Chedi Al Bait, Sharjah. In this ONSITE position, you will support daily bakery operations, ensuring that every product meets our high standards of quality, freshness, and presentation.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing, mixing, and baking breads, rolls, pastries, and other bakery items under the guidance of Chief Bakers.
• Follow recipes, portion standards, and presentation guidelines to maintain consistency and quality.
• Support the preparation of doughs, fillings, and batters, and perform basic decorating tasks.
• Maintain proper storage, labeling, and rotation of ingredients according to hygiene standards.
• Prepare and organize workstations, including mise-en-place for bakery production.
• Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, baking equipment, utensils, and storage areas.
• Adhere to hygiene, safety, and sanitation procedures at all times, following HACCP guidelines.
• Perform side duties and additional tasks as assigned by the Bakery Chef or Kitchen Management.
