Job summary

Eagle Hills UAE is seeking an experienced software engineer to design, develop, test, and maintain full stack features across web, mobile, PWA, and backend APIs. You will work with .NET Core, C#, SQL Server, and AI-assisted development tools to accelerate delivery.

You will collaborate with UX/UI and product teams to build user-friendly, performant experiences, including AI-enabled features such as chatbots, RAG-based workflows, and API integrations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or related field.
• 5 years of hands-on professional software development experience.
• Experience building mobile apps with React Native and responsive web/PWA with React JS/TypeScript.
• Strong fundamentals: OOP, debugging, modular design, secure coding and maintainability.
• Experience with AI-enabled features and AI platforms/APIs (Azure OpenAI, OpenAI API, etc.).
• Familiarity with AI prompt engineering, embeddings, vector search and validation.
• Experience using AI-assisted coding tools to speed delivery and code quality.

Responsibilities

• Integrate applications with internal/external systems via secure APIs and perform performance troubleshooting.
• Use AI-assisted coding tools to accelerate development; review AI-generated code and ensure quality and security.
• Design AI-enabled features such as AI chatbots, RAG-based knowledge search, and API-driven workflows.
• Collaborate with UX/UI and product teams to deliver performant, user-friendly experiences.
• Perform unit, integration and basic regression testing; debug issues and implement permanent fixes.

Key Responsibilities:

APPLICATION DEVELOPMENT & DELIVERY

• Design, develop, test, deploy and maintain full stack application features across web, mobile, PWA, backend APIs and databases.
• Apply strong programming methodology, object-oriented design, reusable components, modular architecture, secure coding, performance awareness and maintainable development practices.

MOBILE & FRONTEND DEVELOPMENT

• Develop mobile application features using React Native, with Expo where applicable, including screens, reusable components, navigation, API integration, authentication flows and device-specific behaviour.
• Build Progressive Web Applications (PWA) using React JS / TypeScript with responsive UI, installable app experience, offline-ready behaviour, service workers and performance optimization where required.
• Use AI-assisted coding tools to accelerate React Native, PWA and React JS development while reviewing and validating all generated code; use Expo where applicable to the mobile application stack.
• Work closely with UX/UI and product teams to deliver user-friendly, performant and maintainable web and mobile application experiences.

BACKEND, APIS & DATABASE

• Develop and maintain backend services, business logic and REST APIs using .NET / .NET Core, C# and related frameworks.
• Integrate applications with internal and external systems using secure and well-documented APIs.
• Work with relational databases such as SQL Server, including basic database design, queries, stored procedures and performance troubleshooting.

AI-ASSISTED DEVELOPMENT

• Use AI-assisted coding tools such as VS Code, Cursor, Windsurf, GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Aider or similar tools to improve development speed and quality.
• Break requirements into clear development tasks, prepare effective prompts, review AI-generated code and refine outputs until they meet coding standards.
• Use AI tools for practical development work such as code generation, debugging, refactoring, unit test creation, API integration support and technical documentation.
• Validate all AI-assisted outputs through testing, code review, security checks and engineering judgement before delivery.

AI APPLICATION DEVELOPMENT

• Design and build practical AI-enabled application features such as AI chatbots, AI assistants, RAG-based knowledge search, AI-powered workflows and model-driven business features.
• Integrate AI services and APIs such as Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Foundry, OpenAI API, Anthropic API or similar platforms with application workflows, backend APIs and enterprise data sources.
• Apply practical AI concepts including prompt engineering, RAG, embeddings, vector search, function calling and AI output validation.

QUALITY, TESTING & EVALUATION

• Perform unit testing, integration testing and basic regression testing before handing over features for release.
• Debug production and non-production issues, identify root causes and implement permanent fixes.
• Follow secure coding, performance optimization and source control practices.

COLLABORATION & COMMUNICATION

• Collaborate closely with product, design and engineering teammates - sharing ideas, reviewing each other's work and communicating clearly.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or a related field.
• Total 5 years of hands‑on professional experience in software development / application programming.
• Practical experience building mobile applications using React Native and/or responsive web/PWA applications using React JS / TypeScript.
• Strong understanding of programming fundamentals, object-oriented programming, debugging, reusable code, modular design, secure coding and maintainable development practices.
• Practical experience building or integrating AI-enabled application features, including RAG AI solutions, AI chatbots, AI assistants, AI-powered workflows or AI API integrations.
• Working experience with AI platforms and APIs such as Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Foundry, OpenAI API, Anthropic API or similar AI services.
• Practical understanding of prompt engineering, RAG, embeddings, vector search, function calling and AI output validation.
• Practical experience using AI-assisted coding tools such as Cursor, Windsurf, GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Aider or similar tools to support faster delivery.
