The client is seeking a highly capable Associate Director with a senior leadership position focused on overseeing the strategic development, implementation, and governance of AI technologies.

Primary Responsibilities >

1. Define and drive the organization's AI vision and long-term strategy.
2. Align AI initiatives with business goals and objectives.
3. Identify opportunities for AI across products, operations, customer service.
4. Lead the planning and execution of AI projects.
5. Manage cross-functional teams (data scientists, ML engineers, product managers).
6. Ensure timely delivery, quality, and ethical integrity of AI systems.
7. Build and lead a high-performing AI team.
8. Mentor technical staff and foster a culture of innovation and continuous learning.
9. Collaborate with other departments (IT, Legal, Operations) to integrate AI smoothly.
10. Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, AI Act).
11. Stay up-to-date on emerging AI technologies, tools, and methodologies.
12. Make strategic decisions on whether to build in-house solutions or adopt third-party platforms.
13. Report to executive leadership or the board on progress, impact, and future plans.

Desired Experience and Qualifications >

Bachelor’s or Master’s in Information Technology or related field. Ability to link AI initiatives to larger business strategy.
