Job summary

GEMS Royal Dubai School in Dubai is seeking a dynamic Art / Design & Technology teacher to join our thriving team. The post focuses on the secondary phase with flexibility to teach primary where needed, contributing to a growing curriculum and upholding the school’s high standards across two campuses.

You will design engaging lessons, foster creativity and critical thinking, manage studios safely, and help develop schemes of work from primary through to secondary while supporting wider school

Qualifications

• Must hold a recognised teaching qualification and relevant degree.
• Experience teaching Art and/or Design & Technology, preferably in secondary, with flexibility for primary.
• Strong practical and technical knowledge across materials, media, tools and digital tech.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Art/Design & Technology lessons across phases.
• Maintain safe, inclusive studio environments and high expectations.
• Develop curricula from primary to secondary, including schemes of work and moderation.
• Promote exhibitions, clubs and cross-curricular opportunities.
