Job summary

Baker Hughes is seeking an ARMO Mechanic I in Abu Dhabi to support maintenance, assembly, and manufacturing of electro-mechanical assemblies. You will troubleshoot, assemble/disassemble and inspect equipment, while adhering to HSE policies and procedures to ensure safety and quality.

The role requires a technical diploma in a mechanical field, maintenance experience in oil & gas, strong mechanical aptitude, and good English communication skills.

Qualifications

• Have a technical diploma in a mechanical related field.
• Have maintenance related knowledge experience in mechanical field within oil and gas industry preferred.
• Display an advanced mechanical aptitude and experience with general hand tools and precision measuring equipment.
• Demonstrate the ability to identify problems and be able to develop solutions.
• Have good English communication skills, both spoken and written.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with activities to ensure repairs, scheduled and preventive maintenance on equipment are completed on-time and safely.
• Troubleshooting, testing, assembling, disassembling and performing visual inspection of electro-mechanical assemblies.
• Reviewing procedures for assembly, disassembly and test verification accuracy.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams and customers to provide technical guidance and troubleshooting knowledge.
• Following and recording internal HSE policies and procedures to ensure a safe and compliant environment.
