MacGregor Black is proud to partner with a leading Beverage Distributor in the search for an Area Manager – Travel Retail, based in Dubai.
This is a pivotal role responsible for driving listings, visibility, sales growth, and customer satisfaction across major airport retail partners, while working closely with internal trade marketing, supply chain, advocacy, and senior commercial teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Secure new listings and maximise distribution for priority brands across Duty Free retailers.
- Increase brand visibility through strategic placement, merchandising, and negotiated floor/shelf space.
- Build strong, influential relationships with Duty Free purchasing teams, key influencers, shop managers, and decision-makers.
- Deliver and implement promotional and marketing plans, ensuring strong brand equity and premium execution standards.
- Review customer orders, optimise replacements/back-orders, and support demand planning to ensure stock availability.
- Conduct regular store visits, audits, and performance reviews to ensure compliance, visibility, and commercial alignment.
- Gather market insights on promotions, price changes, competitor activity, and sales performance.
- Support brand owner visits, senior stakeholder tours, and market presentations.
- Maintain accurate customer records, agreements, sales history, and commercial intelligence.
- Manage payment collections in line with company policies.
What We’re Looking For:
- Degree‑educated with 3–5 years’ experience in sales, ideally within Travel Retail or the beverage industry.
- Strong understanding of commercial principles across pricing, listings, negotiations, and promotional planning.
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with high‑value customers and internal cross‑functional teams.
- Confident communicator with strong influencing skills and a service‑focused mindset.
- High achievement drive, commercially sharp, and motivated by delivering results in a fast‑paced, multicultural market.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
