Based in Dubai, the role ensures safety, reliability and service delivery, leads investigations, supports AOG events, and drives continuous improvement while coordinating tooling and training.

Qualifications

• Valid EASA Part-66 B1 Aircraft Maintenance Licence.
• Minimum 5 years of line maintenance experience on large transport aircraft (Boeing).
• Experience with contracted maintenance providers and outstation support.
• Strong knowledge of EASA Part-145 and continuing airworthiness.
• Fluent in English and able to communicate with cross-functional teams.
• Willing to travel extensively within the GCC.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical oversight for line maintenance activities across the GCC.
• Monitor performance and compliance of contracted maintenance providers.
• Ensure maintenance conforms to EASA Part-145 and company procedures.
• Support AOG cases, technical disruptions, and defect troubleshooting.

Job Description:

Cargolux is seeking an experienced and motivated Maintenance Representative (EASA B1 Licensed Engineer) to support line maintenance activities across the Gulf (GCC) region. Based in Dubai, the successful candidate will act as a technical liaison between Cargolux, contracted maintenance providers, airports, and operational stakeholders to ensure the highest standards of safety, compliance, reliability, and service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical oversight and support for line maintenance activities throughout the GCC region.


• Monitor the performance and compliance of contracted maintenance providers.


• Ensure maintenance activities are carried out in accordance with EASA Part-145 requirements, company procedures, and regulatory standards.


• Support aircraft on ground (AOG) situations, technical disruptions, and defect troubleshooting.


• Conduct station visits, audits, assessments, and quality inspections as required.


• Act as the focal point for maintenance-related operational issues and coordinate solutions with internal and external stakeholders.


• Monitor deferred defects, repetitive defects, and technical reliability trends.


• Support investigations, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives.


• Coordinate tooling, equipment, and material requirements within the region.


• Provide technical assistance during aircraft recoveries, inductions, and operational events.


• Assist with training, competency assessments, and development of maintenance providers.

Essential Requirements

• Valid EASA Part-66 B1 Aircraft Maintenance Licence.


• Minimum 5 years of line maintenance experience on large transport aircraft (Boeing).


• Type ratings on B747-400 and B747-8 aircraft are preferred.


• Experience working with contracted maintenance providers and outstation support.


• Strong knowledge of EASA Part-145 and continuing airworthiness requirements.


• Excellent troubleshooting and decision-making skills in an operational environment.


• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.


• Willingness to travel extensively within the GCC region.


• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.


• Fluent in English
