About the job Architecture Manager (High - Rise)
Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Architecture Manager to lead and coordinate all architectural aspects of our property development projects. Reporting to the CDO, this role ensures design alignment with company goals, regulations, and market standards. Responsibilities include managing consultants, reviewing designs, and overseeing development through construction and implementation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and coordinate architectural design from concept through detailed design, tender, and construction stages across all active projects.
  • Lead the selection, engagement, and performance management of architectural consultants and design firms.
  • Review and provide technical feedback on design submissions, drawings, and specifications to ensure alignment with project vision, quality standards, and applicable regulations.
  • Ensure that architectural design meets project budgets, timelines, and functional requirements in collaboration with the Development, Commercial, and Construction teams.
  • Facilitate design coordination between consultants (architectural, structural, MEP, interior, landscape, etc.) to ensure fully integrated and buildable design solutions.
  • Oversee compliance with local authority regulations and manage approvals from planning and regulatory bodies (e.g., Dubai Municipality, ADM, Trakhees, etc.).
  • Support the CDO in setting architectural direction, design guidelines, and aesthetics aligned with brand and market positioning.
  • Conduct regular site visits to review implementation quality and provide architectural input during construction.
  • Review value engineering proposals from contractors or consultants and assess their impact on design integrity.
  • Stay up to date with emerging design trends, technologies, and sustainable design standards (LEED, Estidama, etc.).
  • Review Contractor submittals and ensure compliance with design objectives
  • Manage preparation of Unit layout for SPAs as per regulatory requirement
Required Qualifications and Skills
  • Bachelors degree in Architecture is required; Masters degree or postgraduate diploma in Architecture or Urban Design is an advantage.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in architectural design management, with at least 5 years in a client-side or developer environment.
  • Strong portfolio of work across residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects, particularly within the UAE or GCC region.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of UAE building codes, authority approval processes, and international design standards.
  • Proficiency in architectural and design software (AutoCAD, Revit, Adobe Suite, SketchUp, etc.) and project coordination tools.
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent communication, design review, and documentation abilities.
  • Membership in a recognized architectural professional body (e.g., AIA, RIBA, UAE Society of Engineers).
  • Experience with sustainable design and green building certifications (LEED, WELL, Estidama).
  • Fluency in English is required; Arabic is a plus.
  • Experience working on high-rise and hospitality projects is an added advantage.
