Job summary

Fatherson International in Dubai is seeking an Architecture drafter to prepare shop drawings and BIM models using AutoCAD and Revit. You will coordinate with structural and MEP teams and ensure compliance with UAE design standards and project specs.

The role requires a Diploma or degree in Architecture and strong technical drawing skills, including shop drawings and construction detailing, with attention to accuracy and document control.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Autodesk Revit.
• Experience in architectural shop drawings and construction detailing.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and technical specifications.
• Experience coordinating with structural and MEP disciplines.
• Knowledge of BIM standards and clash coordination is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Prepare architectural shop drawings and construction drawings.
• Develop 2D drawings and BIM models using AutoCAD and Revit.
• Prepare detailed drawings for floor plans, partitions, ceilings, doors, windows, finishes.
• Coordinate architectural drawings and BIM models with structural and MEP disciplines.
• Review drawings and specifications to identify discrepancies.
• Update drawings based on consultant comments and site requirements.
• Maintain drawing registers and document control per project procedures.
