Job summary

ZIA Medical Center in Dubai seeks a qualified Male General Practitioner fluent in Arabic to provide comprehensive primary healthcare, diagnose and manage conditions, and ensure high patient care standards.

The role requires DHA license or eligibility, 2+ years post-internship experience, and strong clinical assessment, communication, and teamwork within a multidisciplinary setting. Proficiency in English and Arabic is essential; UAE healthcare experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Medicine and Surgery or equivalent recognized qualification.
• Valid DHA licence or DHA eligibility letter as a General Practitioner.
• Minimum two years of relevant clinical experience after internship.
• Fluent in Arabic and English.
• Male candidates only.
• Current Basic Life Support certification.
• Strong clinical assessment, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Previous UAE healthcare experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient consultations, physical examinations and clinical assessments.
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions.
• Prescribe appropriate medications and treatment plans.
• Request and interpret laboratory tests, imaging and other diagnostic procedures.
• Refer patients to specialists when required and coordinate follow-up care.
• Provide preventive healthcare, health education and lifestyle counselling.
• Respond appropriately to medical emergencies.
• Maintain accurate and complete electronic medical records.
• Follow DHA regulations, clinical guidelines and facility policies.
• Work collaboratively with specialists, nurses and other healthcare professionals.
• Ensure patient confidentiality, safety and satisfaction at all times.
• Participate in quality improvement, clinical audits and continuing professional development activities.
