Job summary

LILT is seeking independent translators in multiple language pairs to join our translation pool. Translate and edit content across Life Sciences, IT, Marketing, Legal, Finance, and more while preserving nuance.

Work remotely with flexible hours and contribute to AI-assisted localization for global markets. As a contractor, you will apply standards, ensure quality, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver accurate translations and culturally appropriate content.

Qualifications

• Native-level proficiency in the target language(s).
• Graduate qualification in translation/linguistics or language studies, or a related field with 2 years translation experience.
• 5 years of full-time professional translation experience.

Responsibilities

• Translate content between English and your native language while preserving cultural nuance and clarity.
• Edit and refine language content for accuracy, tone, and contextual relevance across digital platforms.
• Apply current language standards, usage trends, and best practices to all deliverables.
• Evaluate and provide structured feedback to improve language model quality.
• Collaborate with Production and cross-functional teams to localize content for your language-speaking markets.
• Support content development, localization, and quality assurance for digital tools and applications.
• If transcreation is required, the text should be creatively adapted beyond the source to ensure it reads naturally in the target language.
