Job summary

Shapoorji Pallonji & Company Pvt. Ltd. in Dubai seeks an experienced Senior Accountant to lead the Accounts Receivable, Collections and Recovery functions, and to manage ERP operations using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in accounting/finance, professional qualifications, and a proven track record in AR and cash-flow reporting within Construction or Trading sectors. This role is based in Al Quoz, Dubai, with a six-day workweek.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CA, ACCA, CPA, CMA, or equivalent professional qualification preferred.
• Proven experience as a Senior Accountant.
• Strong AR, collections, and recovery background.
• Mandatory experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
• Experience in Construction or Trading sectors.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong leadership and teamwork abilities.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the complete Accounts Receivable cycle.
• Oversee collections and recovery to ensure timely payments.
• Monitor customer aging and follow up on overdue accounts.
• Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure policy compliance.
• Prepare financial reports related to receivables and cash flow.
• Utilize Dynamics 365 BC for day-to-day accounting.
• Collaborate with internal departments to improve collection efficiency.
• Lead and support team members while fostering collaboration.
