Job summary

Confidential is seeking an engaged academic to deliver undergraduate courses in cybersecurity, information security, and related disciplines in Abu Dhabi. You will develop hands-on laboratories, projects, simulations, and industry-based activities, while continuously improving materials and assessments.

Qualifications

• PhD or related field from an internationally recognized university.
• Master's degree for Instructor with relevant academic/industry experience.
• MOHE equivalency for abroad graduates.
• Experience in higher education teaching and lab-based learning.
• Hands-on knowledge of cybersecurity technologies, tools, and platforms.
• Desirable: applied research, industry collaboration or training programs.
• Assistant Professor: research publications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver undergraduate courses in cybersecurity, information security, networking, software security, programming, and related computing disciplines.
• Develop hands-on labs, projects, simulations, case studies, and industry-based activities.
• Develop and improve course materials, assessments, labs, and resources.
• Supervise capstone and applied research projects.
• Contribute to cybersecurity training programs for government and industry partners.
• Engage in applied research, grants, and collaborative projects.
• Build partnerships with industry and government to enhance learning and employability.
• Support accreditation and outcome-based education requirements (ABET, CAA).
• Contribute to innovation initiatives, student competitions, and departmental projects.
• Participate in academic activities, mentoring, and division duties.
