Job summary

Emperor is seeking an Animator for a fixed-term contract in our Dubai office. You will deliver high-quality animation projects, interpreting briefs with originality and playfulness while aligning with client briefs.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of hands-on animation experience with strongAfter Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop and Illustrator proficiency.
• Solid understanding of animation principles, timing, transitions and typography.
• Ability to translate concepts into compelling storyboards and motion design assets.
• Experience delivering content across campaigns, social, digital, presentations and film.
• Ability to work with brand identities and static designs to produce motion content.
• Strong attention to detail and efficient production workflows.

Responsibilities

• Support the team in creating, rolling out and implementing animation projects.
• Learn client brands and identity systems to ensure consistent visuals across channels.
• Translate knowledge into high quality animation executions.
• Extend concepts across channels and outputs.

Role

PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS A FIXED-TERM CONTRACT BASED IN OUR DUBAI OFFICE

As an Animator, you'll deliver high-quality animation projects that push boundaries while staying true to the brief. We'll expect you to interpret briefs and creative direction with originality and playfulness and always strive to deliver the best possible outcome for the client.

You'll conduct research and apply insights to inform your creative decisions, clearly articulating how these have shaped your approach. With preparation, you'll be able to present your ideas to colleagues and clients with confidence, clarity and intelligence.

You'll have a strong understanding of what drives the impact of our work and will gather evidence to show why it's effective. We'll expect you to show a high standard of craft, design and storytelling, and you're committed to improving these technical and conceptual skills alike.

With a curiosity for new tools and techniques, you're agile in your thinking and collaborative in your approach. You're ready to jump in and support the team whenever needed, and you'll

contribute positively to the creative culture of the agency.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential, as you'll be working closely with colleagues across disciplines. You'll be eager to share your knowledge, embrace new challenges, and explore unfamiliar creative territory.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the team in the creating, rolling out and Implementing animation projects
• Gaining a full knowledge of our clients and their brand and visual identity systems
• Translating your knowledge into high quality and creative animation executions
• Taking concepts and extending across channels and outputs.
• Working with creatives specialising in print, digital, moving image, and copywriting.
• Learning and following systems and processes
• Being disciplined and vigilant in managing files and versions

Technical Skills

• 3-5 years experience with advanced proficiency in After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and Illustrator
• Strong understanding of animation principles, timing, transitions, and typography
• Ability to translate a concept or theme into a story and build storyboards to demonstrate the thinking behind it
• Ability to translate brand identities and static designs into high-quality motion
• Experience creating content across campaigns, social, digital, presentations, and film
• Strong skills in compositing, masking, tracking, and sound syncing
• Good understanding of video formats, frame rates, resolutions, and delivery specs
• Experience with 3D tools such as Cinema 4D or Blender is a plus
• Familiarity with AI-assisted creative tools is a plus
• Strong attention to detail, file organization, and efficient production workflows
