Job summary

Talentspoc in the UAE is seeking an experienced anesthesiologist to join its multidisciplinary team, delivering comprehensive anesthesia and perioperative care with a strong emphasis on patient safety and optimal outcomes.

The role covers pre-operative assessment, anesthesia planning, intraoperative monitoring, airway management, post-anesthesia care, and collaboration with surgeons, intensivists, and nurses. Board-certified or equivalent qualification required, with UAE-recognized credentials.

Qualifications

• Conduct pre-anesthetic assessments including medical history and risk factors.
• Develop individualized anesthesia plans based on the patient’s condition and planned procedure.
• Administer general, regional, and local anesthesia and sedation as clinically appropriate.
• Monitor patients continuously during anesthesia and surgical procedures.
• Maintain airway management and respond promptly to airway emergencies and other anesthetic complications.
• Manage patients undergoing elective and emergency surgical procedures.
• Provide post-anesthesia care and monitor patients during recovery.
• Assess and manage acute and perioperative pain using evidence-based techniques.
• Recognize and manage anesthesia-related complications and emergencies, including resuscitation when required.
• Collaborate with surgeons, intensivists, nurses, and other perioperative team members.
• Provide anesthesia care for patients with complex medical conditions and assess perioperative risks.
• Maintain accurate anesthesia records, documentation, and patient records.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, infection-control procedures, patient-safety standards, and UAE regulations.
• Participate in audits, quality improvement, meetings, and CME.
