Job summary

talabat is seeking an Analytics Engineer to transform raw data into reliable, accessible data models. You will collaborate with data engineers to build scalable pipelines and work with analysts to ensure data is actionable and insights-driven.

Responsibilities include designing data models in SQL/dbt, optimizing ETL processes, and enforcing data quality across platforms. You will join a high-performing data team supporting business intelligence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or related field.
• 3+ years hands-on data modeling and dbt experience.
• Strong Python and SQL skills with dbt tooling.
• Experience with cloud data warehouses (Snowflake/BigQuery/Redshift).
• Familiarity with Git and CI/CD for data workflows.
• Understanding ETL/ELT principles and data engineering basics.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data models in SQL and dbt to support analytics.
• Collaborate with data engineers to optimize ETL pipelines.
• Partner with analysts and business teams to ensure data meets reporting needs.
• Enforce data quality, testing, and documentation practices.
