Overview
Command is seeking Analysts to join our consulting team supporting major national security and defense transformation initiatives in the Gulf region and beyond.
This is a unique opportunity for early-career professionals—those with prior internship or 1–2 years of professional experience—who are passionate about international affairs, defense, homeland security, and global risk management.
Analysts work at the intersection of strategic consulting and national security policy, contributing to projects that shape the way governments and institutions prepare for emerging threats and build long-term resilience.
Command Analysts support senior consultants and subject matter experts across the full spectrum of project delivery, from research and analysis to producing polished reports and presentations for senior decision-makers.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the full lifecycle of consulting engagements — from research and data collection to analysis, writing, and production of client‑ready reports, briefs, and presentations.
- Conduct open‑source and targeted research on global security, defense modernization, geopolitical trends, and emerging technologies.
- Assist with the coordination of project logistics and communications between Command’s internal teams, subject matter experts, client representatives, and partner organizations.
- Draft and edit analytical products, situation updates, and strategic assessments under senior team guidance.
- Maintain project trackers, document libraries, and deliverable schedules to ensure high‑quality, timely execution.
- Contribute to internal knowledge management and help refine frameworks used in Command’s defense and security consulting practice.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree required; preferred fields include international relations, political science, security studies, economics, or related disciplines.
- 0–2 years of relevant professional experience (internship or full‑time) in management consulting, government, defense, research, or related sectors.
- Demonstrated interest in national security, defense policy, intelligence, or foreign affairs through coursework, internships, or prior employment.
- Exceptional writing, research, and critical thinking skills with the ability to synthesize complex information into clear, concise outputs.
- Strong organizational, time management, and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast‑paced environment.
- Initiative, curiosity, and a collaborative mindset—comfortable working with diverse teams and senior experts.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace applications.
- Arabic language skills or familiarity with the Middle East region is a plus but not required.
- Prior exposure to law enforcement, military, defense, or security‑related work is beneficial but not required.
