Job summary

The Management Recruitment Group (MRG) on behalf of a leading owner and developer of hospitality and leisure assets in the Middle East seeks an Analyst - Asset Management to maximise financial and operating performance across a diverse portfolio.

Reporting to the Corporate Director of Asset Management, you will support budgeting, financial modelling, investment appraisals, and the preparation of business cases to drive value.

Qualifications

• A degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related discipline.
• A professional qualification such as ACCA, ACA, CPA, CFA, or equivalent (or be working towards one).
• 3-5 years' experience within asset management, hospitality finance, investment analysis, corporate finance, or real estate.
• Strong financial modelling, budgeting, and business case preparation experience.
• Excellent Excel and financial analysis skills.
• An understanding of hospitality financial reporting and performance metrics such as RevPAR, GOP, and EBITDA.
• Knowledge of USALI would be advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills with strong attention to detail and the ability to influence stakeholders through data-driven insights.

Responsibilities

• Monitoring and analysing financial and operational performance across a hospitality portfolio.
• Producing portfolio reporting, dashboards, and performance analysis for senior management.
• Reviewing operator financial submissions, identifying trends, and highlighting material variances.
• Supporting annual budgeting, forecasting, and business planning processes.
• Developing financial models and feasibility studies for capital expenditure, refurbishment, and asset repositioning projects.
• Analysing investment opportunities using financial modelling and return analysis.
• Monitoring capital projects against approved budgets and projected returns.
• Preparing reports and presentation material for ownership meetings, business reviews, and executive stakeholders.
• Collaborating with operators and internal commercial, finance, and technical teams to support informed investment decisions.

As its portfolio continues to expand, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an Analyst - Asset Management to join a high-performing team responsible for maximising the financial and operational performance of a diverse hospitality portfolio.

This role offers outstanding exposure to asset management, investment analysis, and strategic decision-making, working closely with senior leadership to support portfolio optimisation, capital investment initiatives, and long-term value creation.

The Role

Reporting to the Corporate Director of Asset Management, you will provide analytical support across portfolio performance, budgeting, financial modelling, and capital expenditure appraisal. You will play a key role in evaluating asset performance, preparing investment business cases, and supporting strategic initiatives that enhance operational and financial returns.

About You

To be successful in this position, you will need to possess a strong analytical mindset, along with excellent commercial awareness and financial modelling capabilities. You will be comfortable working with large volumes of financial data and translating analysis into meaningful commercial insights.

You will ideally have:

• A degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related discipline.
• A professional qualification such as ACCA, ACA, CPA, CFA, or equivalent (or be working towards one).
• 3-5 years' experience within asset management, hospitality finance, investment analysis, corporate finance, or real estate.
