Job summary

CIB MARS is seeking an experienced Inspection Engineer specialising in Amusement Rides and Devices to perform independent third-party inspections of amusement equipment and related safety systems in the UAE.

The role requires direct inspection industry experience, knowledge of EIAC and ENAS guidelines, and the ability to work within controlled procedures, interpret drawings and report findings clearly.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of directly relevant third‑party inspection experience involving amusement rides or comparable equipment.
• Experience working within an inspection body’s controlled procedures and reporting system.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, manufacturer instructions, inspection criteria and test results.
• Strong technical report-writing skills and clear communication in English.
• Willingness to travel to inspection sites across the UAE.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections of amusement rides and devices per procedures and standards.
• Review manuals, drawings, previous reports, maintenance records and tests.
• Inspect structural components, anchorage, mechanical assemblies and safety features.
• Examine passenger restraints, guarding, interlocks, emergency stops and access.
• Perform or witness functional checks within the scope.
• Identify defects and document findings with evidence and photos.
• Prepare inspection reports and certification documentation.
• Communicate findings to clients and escalate safety defects.
• Conduct follow-up inspections and verify corrective actions.
• Maintain inspection records, checklists and calibration status.
• Support EIAC and ENAS assessments, audits and corrective actions.
• Maintain impartiality, confidentiality and professional judgement.
