About you:

We seek to appoint a well‑qualified and outstanding Alternative Pathways Secondary Inclusion Teacher to join our team in January 2026 to lead our Life Skills Pathway class and support us with the inclusion provision across the secondary school. You will be actively involved in the formation of practices and procedures designed to raise attainment, together with effective monitoring of the impact of those. You will be enthusiastic about working within a school environment and supporting the needs of the school.

We are looking for certain qualities:
  • Skilled in the best inclusive educational practices with at least one core subject as your specialist area
  • Possess an excellent understanding of SEND and the skills to teach pupils with complex needs working significantly below their age‑related expectations
  • Committed to developing and inspiring every student, to believe that they can and will succeed
  • Experience of target setting, writing and reviewing IEPs
  • Knowledge of vocational curriculums and alternative pathways
  • Confident in communicating and liaising with parents, external professionals and school leaders
  • Tech‑savvy, fluent in using apps and technology to extend and enrich each student’s learning experience
  • Outstanding role models who embody our core values
  • Passionate about providing enriched learning opportunities for children in and out of the classroom
  • Excellent communicators who can ignite a passion for learning in our students
  • Able to make a significant contribution to our extra‑curricular activities (ECA) programme and wider campus life
  • Strong academic background, work ethic, well‑organised having excellent interpersonal skills
  • Dynamic, enthusiastic and well‑qualified holding a minimum, a Bachelor’s degree or post‑graduate qualification in Inclusion or SEN with a QTS
  • Candidate with a CPT3A qualification to assess and create Form 8/9 for Exam Access Arrangements is desirable but not a must
  • Proven time‑management and organisational skills
