Job summary

Marc Ellis invites an experienced IT Project Manager with 5+ years of IT project management and software development background to join Dubai-based airline domain client operations on a 6-month extendable contract. Lead software development and product implementation projects using Waterfall and Agile (Scrum); manage stakeholders and vendor selection.

Mandatory PMP certification and immediate availability within a 30-day notice period are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, CS, IT or related technical discipline.
• 5+ years of IT project management experience in software development and product implementation.
• PMP certification is mandatory.
• Proven experience delivering projects with both Agile (Scrum) and Waterfall methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, monitor, and deliver IT software development and product implementation projects on time and within approved budgets.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, manage project scope, baseline timelines, human resources, and financial costs.
• Lead rigorous Request for Proposal (RFP) processes, vendor evaluation, selection, and third-party product implementation.
• Coordinate cross-functional technical teams, software engineers, and business stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage project risks, log issues, enforce quality standards, and execute robust change control procedures.
• Provide regular executive project status reporting, milestone tracking, and governance updates to senior leadership.
• Conduct post-implementation project reviews, retrospectives, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure strict adherence to airline industry data privacy standards, security policies, and enterprise governance frameworks.
