Job summary

A leading aviation services provider in Dubai seeks an Airframe Technical Advisor to manage client needs for aircraft maintenance. This role involves planning inspections, representing clients on-site, and developing relationships with service facilities. Candidates should have Airframe and Powerplant ratings, 10 years of experience with corporate aircraft, and strong analytical skills. Fluency in English is required.

Qualifications

  • Clear understanding of relevant technical skills.

Responsibilities

Position Summary

The Airframe Technical Advisor is the primary contact for Clients and will handle their needs on routine, minor, unscheduled, major scheduled, and AOG events.

Responsibilities
  • Help plan for major scheduled inspections and assist with immediate logistics related to unscheduled events
  • On-site representation, especially for major scheduled inspections
  • Create service calls to track technical data and financial forecasting
  • Develop and maintain client relationships through periodic contact
  • Grow and maintain relationships with regional service facilities and mobile repair teams
  • Research logbooks and/or conduct visual inspections for new enrollments or existing contracts
  • Review and process invoices in AMS to meet turnaround time goals set by Technical Services Management
  • Triage events and ensure appropriate handling of each situation
  • Understand current contract policies and procedures
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned by Technical Services Management
Education and Experience
  • Dubai based position
  • Airframe and Powerplant ratings required
  • Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) in Aviation field preferred
  • 10 years of experience with corporate turbine-powered business aircraft (non-commercial) preferred, with expertise on Gulfstream and Bombardier airframes
  • Excellent Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to read, write, and articulate analytically
  • Clear understanding of relevant technical skills
  • Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure
  • Well organized; ability to obtain passport and travel internationally
  • Fluency in English required for effective communication
