Job summary

Air Arabia in the United Arab Emirates seeks a Civil Aircraft Maintenance Technician to support airframe and engine maintenance. The role involves inspections, defect rectification, repairs and component replacements to ensure aircraft serviceability and regulatory compliance.

Candidate should have at least 2 years of experience on large commercial aircraft, preferably Airbus types, and be capable of working within a safety-focused maintenance team in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Qualified and experienced Civil Aircraft Maintenance Technician.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English to a good standard for technical communications.
• Ability to use computer (Microsoft Office).
• Ability to obtain UAE Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Reviews assigned task cards with the Engineer-in-Charge to understand work, priorities and documentation.
• Prepares and performs scheduled aircraft maintenance with required parts, tools and GSE.
• Carries out aircraft test and inspection tasks to identify defects.
• Carries out repairs, component replacements and tests as instructed.
• Ensures proper tooling is available and returned in good condition.
• Reports task status and flags issues to Engineer-in-Charge.
