Job summary

Etihad Engineering is seeking an Aircraft Engineer - Structures to lead repair and modification of aircraft structures, ensuring airworthiness and compliance with engineering orders and manuals.

You will supervise a team of structure/composite technicians, certify tasks, and maintain strict tool, material, and documentation control aligned with airline standards.

Qualifications

• Valid UAE GCAA or EASA Aircraft License with apprenticeship.
• 6+ years of structural/composite aircraft maintenance experience, preferably with MRO or airline maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and/or perform repair and modification of internal and external aircraft structure per manuals and specifications.
• Report to structure/composite Manager/Lead engineer and ensure airworthiness and safety.
• Oversee a group of assigned technicians and ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Ensure all aircraft documentation related to work is completed and signed.
• Maintain high housekeeping standards and strict FOD control procedures.

Join Etihad Engineering as Aircraft Engineer - Structures where technical expertise meets aviation excellence. Be at the forefront of aircraft structural maintenance, ensuring the highest standards of safety and compliance.

This role will be responsible for Control and lead base maintenance check, modification and repairs leading a limited number of structure/ composite technicians. Certify all related assigned task in structure/composite under in house scope of approvals.

Accountabilities

• Lead and/or perform repair and modification of both internal and external aircraft structure in accordance with Technical Manuals, Engineering drawing, Engineering Orders and manufacturing Specifications.
• Report to structure/ composite Manager/Lead engineer and is responsible for the completion of all assigned task with acceptable standards in relation to airworthiness and safety.
• Responsible for the control and performance of a group of assigned technical staff.
• Ensure that all aircraft documentation related to his work/project is completed and signed progressively.
• Ensure compliance to safety regulations and safe working practice procedures.
• Ensure compliance to tool control procedures and material control procedure.
• Working to high standards of housekeeping and FOD control

Education & Experience

• High school leaving certificate /or Education to University /college degree with Valid Aircraft License UAE GCAA or EASA License and Apprenticeship with Airline or 145 organization or equivalent organization OR Aviation based Diploma.
• Must possess 6+ years of strong structural/ composite Aircraft Maintenance experience preferably with MRO and/or airlines maintenance.
