Job summary

Dubai Aviation Corporation is seeking a skilled Lead Technician to supervise sheet metal and composite structure maintenance on aircraft. You will oversee inspections, repairs, and modifications to airframes and components, ensuring work is safe, timely, and compliant with AMM/SRM, EO, SB, CMM and regulations.

The role requires fluent English, strong leadership, and 3+ years in sheet metal and composite repairs, with AMOS experience and recognized aircraft structures training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree (3+ years) in Aircraft Maintenance or related field.
• Diploma or Degree in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering with recognized training in structures.
• Fluent in English.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in sheet metal and composite structure repairs.
• Working knowledge of AMOS.
• Years with qualifications: 5 - 7 years, Years without qualifications (if applicable): 8 - 10 years.

Responsibilities

• Supervises daily activities of Sheet Metal and Composite Structure Technicians and allocates manpower, tools, and materials to meet schedules.
• Promotes a positive safety culture and provides coaching and feedback to staff.
• Performs and supervises structural inspections, repairs, and modifications on aircraft airframes and structural components.
• Ensures maintenance work complies with AMM, SRM, EO, SB, CMM and regulatory requirements.
• Oversees fabrication, repair, and replacement of metallic structures and ensures proper installation of rivets, bolts, and hardware.
• Leads composite repair activities, coordinating with NDT when required.
• Verifies tasks meet quality standards and maintains maintenance documentation for audits.
