Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT/Math/Aeronautical Engineering or equivalent from a recognized university is highly desirable for this role.
• A diploma in a related field is acceptable if combined with necessary working experience and a track record.
• Must have completed “Performance Engineering” training from Airbus or other manufacturer.
• Deep understanding of the software development process and applicable PE tools – Performance Center and diagnostic tools.
• Broad performance engineering tool experience (Wily, Compuware, IBM-Filenet/Websphere Portal, dynaTrace, HP, etc.)
• Understanding of database technologies – SQL, Oracle, Exadata, etc.
• Microsoft Office (Advanced Excel), Internet, Web Search
• Good in written and verbal communication skills, Technical reports writing, presentations, etc.
• Fluent in English Language.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical advice and assistance on all aspects of Aircraft Performance Engineering.
• Contribute to performance documentation content, revision and production in manuals and support material.
• Ensure regulated performance for Take-off, En-route and Landing are monitored and revised regularly.
• Monitor Flight Planning System database for adequacy and compliance with regulations.
• Review NOTAMs and ensure LIDO Flight Planning system operates per requirements.
• Identify limitations on operational capabilities and suggest remedial solutions.
• Analyze non-normal procedures affecting aircraft performance and guide crew/dispatch.
• Support Weight & Balance data construction, load and trim sheet validation.
• Assist with Electronic Flight Bag System and database updates.
• Review Airfield obstacle charts and conduct airport feasibility studies.
• Act as Aircraft Performance Monitoring focal and generate performance degradation data.
• Monitor ETOPS and generate reports; assess new routes for safety and efficiency.
• Support new projects related to aircraft performance and operation efficiency.
