Job summary

VHR is seeking an Aircraft Painter to join a aviation staffing project in the UAE. The role involves painting exterior and interior surfaces of commercial aircraft, adhering to safety and timekeeping standards, and maintaining tidy workspaces within hangars and aircraft depots.

The candidate must have formal basic aircraft maintenance paint training, be fluent in Tagalog, and possess at least 3 years of hands-on painting experience on commercial aircraft.

Qualifications

• Official basic aircraft maintenance paint training or equivalent.
• Proficient in Tagalog language.
• Minimum 3 years hands-on experience painting exterior and interior commercial aircraft.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety and security precautions are understood and abided by before starting the job.
• Follow instructions of the lead person designated by the engineer/supervisor.
• Ensure equipment used for the job is safe (steps, ladders, male lifts, tools, etc.).
• Assist the manager while performing minor/major paint fixes.
• Assist the manager in ordering paint products using the computer.
• Ensure all work is properly documented and time is recorded accurately at job end.
• Maintain good housekeeping in aircraft docks, garages and stores.
• Keep workplace clean and dispose of waste using drip trays and chemical waste bins.
