Job summary

A regional airline is seeking a qualified Maintenance Engineer to supervise and carry out Line/Base-level maintenance on Airbus A320 aircraft. The ideal candidate must hold a valid GCAA CAR 66 B2 Aircraft Maintenance License and have at least 2 years of experience certifying maintenance on the Airbus A320. Strong English communication skills and good computer knowledge are essential. This position is based in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

Qualifications

• Holds a valid GCAA CAR 66 B2 Aircraft Maintenance License and company maintenance approvals on the Airbus A320.
• Able to demonstrate in-depth airframe and engine systems maintenance knowledge.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English to a good standard for technical communications.

Responsibilities

• Carries out and supervises Line/Base-level maintenance tasks on aircrafts.
• Prepares and performs scheduled aircraft maintenance according to assigned task cards.
• Carries out aircraft test and inspection tasks to fully identify and record defects.

Skills

Airframe and engine systems maintenance knowledge

Good English communication skills

Computer skills (Microsoft Office)

Ability to obtain a UAE driving license

Education
