Job summary

Etihad Airways is seeking highly qualified A320 pilots to join their Abu Dhabi-based fleet. The role targets candidates with substantial A320 flight hours and current currency who can operate in a glass cockpit environment with modern FMS/auto-pilot systems.

Ideal candidates will hold an ICAO ATPL, unrestricted medical Class 1, and a current A320 type rating, with strong English proficiency and recent flight activity.

Qualifications

• Total Time: 5,500 hours.
• PIC Time: 2,500 hours as PIC on multi-crew, glass cockpit aircraft.
• PIC on Type: 1,500 hours as PIC on A320.
• Type Rating: A320 type-rated and current; validity minimum 2 months at date of joining.
• License: Unrestricted and current ICAO ATPL.
• Medical: Unrestricted and current Class 1.
• Currency: Flown A320 Family within the last 12 months.
• English: Fluency in written and spoken English; Level 4 or higher.

Minimum qualifications

Glass Cockpit definition: aircraft with an FMS coupled to AP/AFDS. For hours accumulated with inflight relief, 75% of total hours count toward the minimums.

Preferred profile

• Current TRE / TRI is an advantage
• Demonstrable recent A320 command experience and operational currency

• Age: Have not attained the age of 59 years on the day of joining
• Current on Type: Current on A320 at time of application
