Job summary

leading-edge is seeking a skilled Air Traffic Controller in Dubai to coordinate aircraft on the ground and in the air, delivering clear instructions and ensuring passenger safety. The role requires ICAO/GCAA licenses and at least two years of experience in high-pressure environments.

You will monitor traffic, respond to emergencies, and communicate with other controllers to maintain smooth, safe operations in a fast-paced aviation hub.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in aviation, business or related field.
• ICAO Air Traffic Controller License or equivalent.
• GCAA Air Traffic Controller License (for UAE-based candidates).
• At least 2 years of experience as an Air Traffic Controller.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure and make quick decisions.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the movement of aircraft on the ground and in the air.
• Provide clear instructions and guidance to pilots.
• Monitor and manage air traffic to prevent collisions and minimize delays.
• Respond to emergency situations, such as medical emergencies or system failures.
• Communicate with other Air Traffic Controllers and facilities to coordinate air traffic.
