Job summary

Institute of Foundation Models (IFM) seeks a Developer Experience Engineer to shape end-to-end integration paths for frontier foundation models. You will rigorously test all deployment routes, validate configurations, and ensure seamless interface with popular AI frameworks, acting as the primary gatekeeper for release readiness.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
5+ years in software engineering, ML, MLOps, or technical project management in a product/deep-tech setting.
Strong Python and terminal/CLI proficiency; able to debug deployment scripts and read logs.

Responsibilities

Systematically test deployment paths across environments (e.g., Hugging Face, vLLM, TensorRT-LLM, Ollama).
Audit onboarding experiences to ensure external engineers can run inference or fine-tuning workflows within 15 minutes.
Identify and document gaps in configuration files and setup environments before releases.
Own sign-off on model release readiness and deployment quality across product lines.
