NTT DATA is seeking an AI Consultant focused on the Public Sector across the Middle East to identify, shape, and accelerate AI transformation initiatives for government and public sector organisations in the UAE.

You will act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, helping define AI strategies, operating models, governance, and adoption roadmaps to deliver measurable outcomes for citizens and agencies.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in consulting, professional services, business transformation, AI, data, analytics, or related client-facing roles.
• Experience shaping or delivering AI, machine learning, generative AI, agentic AI, analytics, or digital transformation initiatives.
• Strong experience working with public sector organisations in the UAE and wider Middle East region.
• Proven ability to develop AI strategies, operating models, transformation roadmaps, value cases, and executive-level business narratives.

Your day at NTT DATA

As an AI Consultant focused on the Public Sector across the Middle East. you will work directly with government and public sector organisations to identify, shape, and accelerate AI transformation initiatives. Acting as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, you will help clients define AI strategies, operating models, governance frameworks, adoption approaches, and transformation roadmaps that create measurable business and citizen outcomes.

You will collaborate closely with AI architects, engineering teams, delivery specialists, sellers, and ecosystem partners to turn client priorities into practical AI solutions. From leading workshops and stakeholder interviews to developing business cases, proposals, ROI models, and proof-of-concept plans, you will play a key role in progressing opportunities from initial strategy discussions through to successful delivery.

This is a highly visible role within a fast-growing AI practice where you will help shape market demand, contribute to the evolution of AI offerings, and bring insight from client engagements back into the business. Success requires an entrepreneurial mindset, strong consulting skills, intellectual curiosity, and the ability to navigate ambiguity while balancing client impact, innovation, and commercial objectives.

To thrive in this role, you need to have:

• 10+ years of experience in consulting, professional services, business transformation, AI, data, analytics, or related client-facing roles.
• Experience shaping or delivering AI, machine learning, generative AI, agentic AI, analytics, or digital transformation initiatives.
• Strong experience working with public sector organisations in the UAE and wider Middle East region.
• Proven ability to develop AI strategies, operating models, transformation roadmaps, value cases, and executive-level business narratives.
• Experience supporting presales activities including opportunity qualification, solution shaping, proposal development, business cases, and executive stakeholder engagement.
• Working knowledge of enterprise AI concepts including large language models, AI agents, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), data readiness, governance, responsible AI, and adoption considerations.
• Strong workshop facilitation, stakeholder management, communication, and structured problem-solving skills.
• Experience leading AI, data, or digital transformation programmes within public sector environments.
• Familiarity with leading cloud and AI platforms such as Azure, AWS, GCP, OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, Databricks, or Snowflake.
• Fluency in Arabic and English preferred, with the ability to engage effectively with senior stakeholders across the region.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Willingness to travel across the Middle East and Africa as required.
