Job summary

Remotedxb is seeking a Senior Cloud Architect to define and implement scalable, secure software architectures in Dubai. You will shape product vision with stakeholders and produce comprehensive architecture blueprints.

The role emphasizes hands-on coding, prototyping, and design assurance across microservices, APIs, and data patterns. You will leverage Azure, AKS, and AI-assisted tooling to streamline delivery, while enforcing standards for reuse and security.

Qualifications

• Strong architecture experience across cloud-native application, integration, data, and security domains.
• Hands-on software engineering capability in C#, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Python.
• Practical experience using agentic AI coding tools like GitHub Copilot or Cursor.
• Practical Azure experience including compute, storage, networking, and security.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Product Managers and stakeholders to shape product vision and translate requirements into architecture options.
• Produce architecture blueprints, high-level and low-level designs, and technical decision records.
• Design secure, scalable, and reusable services, APIs, and datastore patterns.
• Work closely with engineering teams through prototyping, code review, and design assurance.
• Select appropriate technologies and define development standards to promote reuse.
• Apply AI-assisted and agentic engineering practices to improve delivery and productivity.
