Job summary

Tawasol Solution and Services LLC in Dubai seeks a Data Engineer to connect client systems to AI solutions, building reliable data pipelines and governed data stores for reporting and platforms.

You will model, clean and govern data, integrate feeds via APIs, and document pipelines while training client staff. The role is on-site in Dubai for a 12-month contract with immediate start.

Qualifications

• Strong SQL and Python with hands-on Azure data services.
• Data quality and governance practice with Purview or similar.
• Must already be present in the UAE and available to start immediately (5 days notice).

The data engineer connects the client's systems and documents to the AI solutions: reliable pipelines, clean and governed data, and the integrations that feed reporting and other platforms.

What you will do

• Build ingestion pipelines from the client's systems, document stores and forms into a governed data platform.
• Model, clean and quality-check data (customer records, applications, requests, invoices, operational statistics).
• Set up data governance: classification, lineage, access control and retention, in line with UAE data-protection rules.
• Build integrations and data feeds to other platforms through APIs, including third-party platforms where required.
• Document pipelines and train the client's staff to run them.

Must have

• Strong SQL and Python; hands-on with Azure data services (Data Factory, Synapse or Microsoft Fabric, Azure SQL, Data Lake).
• Data quality and governance practice (Microsoft Purview or similar).
• Must already be present in the UAE and available to start immediately (with 5 days notice).

Nice to have

• Microsoft certification DP-203 or DP-600 (Fabric).
• Experience with large-scale enterprise or energy-sector data.
