Boundless in Dubai seeks an experienced Integration Engineer to design and implement automated workflows that connect AI capabilities with the brokerage's operational systems.

You will build integrations across CRM, KYC providers, payments, reporting and back-office tools, ensure data accuracy, traceability and robust error handling, and drive reliable delivery through tests and monitoring.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in integration engineering or backend/workflow automation.
• Experience with automation platforms like n8n, Power Automate, UiPath.
• Understanding API authentication, access controls, queues, retries, idempotency.
• Experience with AI/doc processing integrations with validation & human review.
• Ability to investigate incidents and reconcile data across systems.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering/IS or related field.

Design and implement reliable workflows that connect AI capabilities with the brokerage's operational systems. Automate repetitive work across onboarding, client service, payments, reporting and internal operations while preserving data accuracy, approval controls and traceability. Build integrations that continue to operate safely when upstream systems or AI services fail.

Key responsibilities

Workflow design and integration

• Translate approved process designs into automated workflows across CRM, KYC providers, payment service providers, support tools, document systems and trading back offices.
• Build and maintain APIs, webhooks, scheduled jobs and event-driven integrations using code and approved automation platforms.
• Integrate AI services for document extraction, case classification, summarisation and exception triage, with deterministic validation before data is written to core systems.
• Design canonical payloads, field mappings and interface contracts, including treatment of client identifiers, monetary amounts, currencies, timestamps and status changes.

Transaction safety and exception handling

• Implement idempotency, deduplication, bounded retries, timeouts and replay controls to prevent duplicated cases, repeated messages or unintended financial actions.
• Build approval queues, manual review paths and exception handling for uncertain AI outputs, incomplete data and failed external service calls.
• Preserve segregation of duties for sensitive workflows, including payments, withdrawals and account changes; route actions through existing authorisation controls.
• Maintain end-to-end correlation identifiers and auditable records showing requests, approvals, system responses and final workflow outcomes.

Delivery and operations

• Develop automated integration tests, representative test environments and reconciliation checks with business, QA and system owners.
• Monitor workflow completion, queue age, failure rates and vendor API changes; resolve incidents and provide controlled replay or recovery procedures.
• Secure service accounts, secrets and network access; minimise the client data passed to AI and third-party services.
• Document integration ownership, dependencies, configuration and support procedures; identify manual steps that should be simplified before they are automated.

Essential experience and qualifications

• 4+ years in integration engineering, backend development or workflow automation, including delivery and support of business-critical integrations.
• Experience with an automation or workflow platform such as n8n, Power Automate, UiPath or a code-based orchestration equivalent.
• Practical understanding of API authentication, access controls, message queues, retries, idempotency and distributed workflow failure modes.
• Experience integrating AI or document-processing services into operational workflows with validation and human review.
• Ability to investigate production incidents, reconcile data across systems and document supportable integrations.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.

Preferred experience

• Experience with FX/CFD CRM and back-office systems, payment platforms or onboarding and KYC workflows.
• Experience with robotic process automation for legacy systems and the controls needed when no supported API exists.
• Experience with workflow versioning, secrets management and enterprise integration platforms.
