Job summary

Safran is seeking a Project Manager to lead the Transfer of Work (TOW) of the Business Class seat product line into the Dubai site. You will coordinate across Industrialization, Engineering, Methods, Production, Quality, Purchasing, and Supply Chain to ensure a smooth transfer from planning to ramp-up and series production.

The role requires an Engineering Master’s degree and 5–8 years in industrial project management, ideally in aerospace.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in engineering or equivalent.
• 5–8 years in industrial project management, preferably aerospace.
• Experience with Transfer of Work (TOW) projects.
• Knowledge of APQP, FMEA, PPAP, and PPAP/FAI processes.
• Understanding of electro-mechanical seat actuation and aerospace requirements.

Responsibilities

• Define and manage the BC product line TOW schedule with milestones and resources.
• Coordinate transfer of tech, tooling, and equipment to Dubai site.
• Oversee electro-mechanical actuation and IFE integration aspects.
• Own QCD performance for the TOW project and report to management.
• Lead transfer gates and risk mitigation actions, and drive readiness activities.
• Coordinate training plans for local operators and staff.
• Interface between engineering, methods, production, quality, purchasing, and supply chain.
