Job summary
LevelUP HCS in Abu Dhabi seeks a Metrology, Inspection & Product Quality Manager to lead inspection, metrology strategy, and product quality across propulsion programs. You will direct NPI activities, approve supplier submissions, and ensure measurement systems are capable and production-ready.
The role requires extensive GD&T expertise, leadership of metrology teams, and collaboration with Design/Manufacturing to optimize inspection and quality outcomes for aerospace components.
Qualifications
- Authority-level experience approving APQP submissions, PPAP packages and FAI reports.
- Deep knowledge of GD&T, datum systems and measurement uncertainty.
- Experience with SPC, process capability studies and structured problem-solving.
Responsibilities
- Define and lead the metrology and inspection technology roadmap for propulsion programs.
- Own NPI lifecycle inspection, including PPAP, FAI and supplier approvals.
- Govern supplier concessions, deviations, and corrective actions.
- Lead design for inspectability and acceptance criteria discussions.
- Collaborate with Design/Manufacturing Engineering to deploy key characteristics.
- Define inspection plans, tolerance verification methods and metrology strategies.
- Report quality metrics and status to executive leadership.
