Job summary

ADVANCED CONCEPTS, an ENTITY within EDGE in Abu Dhabi, seeks a skilled Quality Control Leader to oversee incoming, in-process, and final inspections of machined and fabricated aerospace components.

You will supervise QC inspectors, ensure conformance to drawings and customer specifications, maintain traceability records, and drive continuous improvement while upholding AS9100/ISO requirements.

Experience in aerospace or defense sectors is preferred.

Qualifications

• 6–8 years in quality control with ≥2 years in a supervisory/lead role.
• Strong understanding of engineering drawings, GD&T, and quality inspection tools.
• Proficient with measuring instruments including CMMs, micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and comparators.
• Experience documenting NCRs, CAPAs, and maintaining inspection records.
• Familiarity with AS9100/ISO standards and internal audits.
• Experience in aerospace/defense or precision manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Lead the QC function for incoming, in-process, and final inspection.
• Supervise QC inspectors and ensure adherence to procedures and drawings.
• Review and approve inspection reports; maintain traceability records.
• Coordinate with production, design, and planning to fix quality issues.
• Ensure calibration of measuring instruments and manage CMM operations.
• Support audits and drive continuous improvement in QC practices.
• Maintain compliance with ISO/AS9100 or customer-specific requirements.
