Job summary

Emirates Airlines is seeking a Design Engineer to prepare, check, and approve design data for aircraft modifications and repairs on a diverse fleet. You will work within Emirates Design Organisation and liaise with CVEs to ensure CS-25 compliance.

Responsibilities include substantiations, stress and CAD work (Catia/AutoCAD), and technical support across structures, cabin interiors and electrical/avionics systems. Strong regulatory knowledge and AED 7+ years of aerospace experience are required.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in aeronautical, mechanical or electrical field.
• Minimum 7 years aerospace engineering experience; 5 in design organisation (EASA/GCAA).
• Experience with DOA/CVE processes and regulatory approvals.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and check design and substantiation data for aircraft modifications and repairs.
• Prepare/check classifications of changes to type certificates and repairs.
• Provide on-site support during implementation of changes and repairs.
• Coordinate with vendors, MROs, authorities and CVEs for compliance and engineering solutions.
• Analyse OEM data (aircraft manuals, IPC/AMM/SRM) for Airbus and Boeing.
