Job summary
Emirates Airlines – Dubai is seeking a Design Engineer to prepare, check, and approve design and substantiation data for aircraft modifications and repairs in line with regulatory requirements and Emirates Design Organisation Handbook.
You will perform compliance checks, witness tests, and provide on-site support during implementations. Strong knowledge of EASA/CAR 21, fatigue/damage tolerance, and airworthiness is essential for this role.
Qualifications
- Degree or Honours in Aeronautical / Mechanical / Electrical/ Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
- At least 10 years of engineering experience in aerospace, with Part 21 or CAR 21 design organisation experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of EASA Part 21J, GCAA CAR 21, CS-25, CS-26 and related regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, check, and approve design and substantiation data for modifications and repairs on large aircraft.
- Perform compliance inspections and witness certification tests as required.
- Provide on-site support during implementation of modifications/repairs and support to other engineers.
