Job summary

Connect West Gateway HR Consultancies is seeking an Advanced Care Paramedic (ACP) to join our emergency medical services team in Dubai. The ACP will provide advanced pre-hospital care, perform rapid assessments, and act with swift, decisive judgment in high-stress situations.

Requirements include a Bachelor's in Emergency Medical Services/Paramedicine (or equivalent) with a minimum three-year course, valid BLS, ACLS, PALS, and a trauma certificate (PHTLS/ITLS), and DCAS licensing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Emergency Medical Services/Paramedicine or equivalent (minimum three years).
• Valid certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
• Trauma certificate (PHTLS or ITLS) required.
• Licensed by the Dubai Corporation for Ambulance Services (DCAS).
• Proven experience as an Advanced Care Paramedic preferred.

Responsibilities

• Advanced Medical Care: Provide advanced assessment, treatment, and care to patients in emergency and pre-hospital environments, ensuring the highest standards of medical intervention and patient safety.
• Rapid Response: Respond promptly to emergency calls with decisive execution of advanced medical procedures.
• Trauma Management: Apply trauma care techniques based on Trauma Certificate (PHTLS or ITLS).
• Cardiac Life Support: Administer ACLS-guided interventions including defibrillation and cardioversion.
• Pediatric Care: Deliver pediatric care according to PALS protocols.
• Medication Administration: Safely administer advanced medications per guidelines.
• Emergency Equipment: Operate and maintain cardiac monitors, defibrillators, ventilators, and other devices.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate patient records of assessments and interventions.
• Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Work with healthcare, law enforcement, and fire departments.
• Continued Education: Pursue ongoing professional development.
• Compliance and Regulation: Adhere to DCAS and other governing body standards.
