Job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a small and energetic team in the La Marzocco Dubai office.

We are looking for a dynamic Accounting Specialist

Objectives of this role
  • Management of general accounting;
  • Management of the accounts payable cycle;
  • Liaison with the local CPA;
  • Compliance with local regulations on direct and indirect taxes and withholdings;
  • Support in the preparation of local financial statements in accordance with local accounting principles;
  • Support during audit activities, when required;
  • Posting of payroll‑related journal entries (usually prepared by an external firm);
  • Coordination with the back office for activities related to the accounts receivable cycle;
  • Monitoring of inventory levels.
BACK OFFICE AND LOGISTICS
  • Handling purchase orders and pricing in SAP
  • Daily use of the SAP ERP system for operational tasks
  • Purchasing from the factory based on stock levels and demand
  • Coordination of import / export shipping documents
  • Stock evaluation and purchasing from the headquarters
  • Management of office supplies and maintenance of office equipment
  • A degree in Economics or a related field;
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge and use of Microsoft Excel;
  • 5–6 years of experience in the general accounting department;
  • Availability to travel;
  • Knowledge of the SAP ERP system;
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines;
  • Ability to work effectively in a team;
  • Excellent in English.
