Job summary

A leading diversified group in the UAE is looking for an experienced Accountant to oversee accounts receivable and assist in management reporting. The role requires 2-4 years of experience in financial services, ideally within the insurance sector, along with a relevant Bachelor's degree. The Accountant will be responsible for ledger maintenance, report reconciliation, and compliance with statutory requirements, offering a pivotal role in the finance team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 to 4 years as accountant in insurance, banking, or financial services in the UAE.
• Exposure to insurance industry in a commercial environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise preparation of the accounts receivable ledger for timely statement of account.
• Reconcile accounts receivable statements with the general ledger.
• Assist Finance Manager in preparing management reports.
• Compile and collate financial and statistical information for statutory reports.
• Review and analyze reports from branches for accuracy.
• Maintain and update insurance broker accounts.
• Check premium registers for record accuracy.
